42 days of clarity

Summer 2022 (Monday 13th June - Sunday 24th July)

I’d like to invite you to join me for six weeks of clarity.

The course is based on ‘A teacher’s advice on how to be clear’, my re-telling of a thousand-year-old Buddhist teaching that lays out the fundamental principles of clarity - and how to find it in your everyday life.

The idea is this. The basic structure of the course is exploring 42 pieces of advice - one-a-day - for six weeks. Each day you listen to an explanation of that day’s advice - and then work with it, feel your way with it, meditate on it, think about it for the rest of the day. Each day’s advice is simple — but they’re cumulative and, over the weeks, build up into a comprehensive and powerful practice.

Recently, I’ve been only teaching this one-to-one, but it feels like a nice time to bring a group together.

There’ll be a group call on the first evening. This is a chance for you to set your intention for the six weeks, learn some ways of working with the daily advice and ask any questions. Then we’ll have three more calls - two during the course and one after it ends.

(The calls will be 7.30pm - 8.30pm BST on 13th, 27th June and 11th and 25th July. They’ll be a nice, punctual hour, but with an option to hang out after the ‘end’ if there’s more to talk about. And, if you can’t make them live, they’ll all be recorded.)

I’ll be following the advice myself for the six weeks, so this is an invitation to join me as I do. As well as the cards, daily audio and group calls, for the duration of the 42 days I’ll host a WhatsApp group where you can ask questions - and share your progress.
